We couldn’t possibly list all the services we offer to support you during this time, but here is a glimpse of some of the services:
- Manage pain and symptoms
- Provide needed drugs, medical supplies, and equipment
- Coach and support the family on how to care for the client

Deciding whether or not you qualify for hospice can be difficult on your own. Our staff of professionals is trained to know if you are eligible and would be glad to assess your situation. Ask yourself these questions:
- Has my disease stopped responding to treatment?
- Has the doctor suggested that I have a matter of months or days to live?
- Has the doctor recommended hospice to me?
- Do I have a condition that cannot be treated?
- Am I confused about my options?
Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance providers pay 100% of the services we provide. If they do not, we will work with you on a payment option so that you don’t have an additional worry.
Hospice care is individualized care, which is tailored specifically for each individual patient, and is typically provided in the patient’s home. In order to meet the needs of the patient, as well as the family, we take into account each individual’s goals, values, and beliefs, as well as their specific illness. A person with a terminal illness can obtain hospice care whether they have months or days to live.
Hospice care is important to both patient and family. At a time when the focus should be on more important things, hospice care can alleviate many of the responsibilities of being a caregiver in order to provide the freedom to spend time with loved ones. Many patients opt to write memoirs, or do the one thing that they always wanted to do but never got around to. Whatever the task, hospice provides the necessary care enabling the patient and family to focus on each other.
Often when dealing with disease progression, symptoms become less tolerable and more difficult to control. Because hospice care focuses on symptom management (palliative care) and support, the greatest benefit to both patient and family comes with early application.
Hospice care is typically carried out at home where patients can enjoy time with their loved ones in a comfortable and familiar surrounding. While some patients choose to receive hospice care in a nursing home or hospital, most prefer the comforts of home. We can provide care in either setting.
