Our Mission is Our Promise

The Mission of Harmony Community Healthcare is to provide excellent and compassionate hospice and palliative care while creating a community bond through the professional services of our medical staff and volunteers.

Brianna Henderson - CEO

Brianna began working alongside hospice agencies in 2011 and as a hospice social worker in 2012.  After becoming a social worker, she came to realize that the holistic, person-centered approach to hospice was missing from many organizations in Tucson.  As a result, she started Harmony in 2016.

Over the years Brianna has become a leader in the community, delivering innovative programs aimed at filling the gaps in elder health.  In the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Brianna launched Harmony House. Funded by Pima County Health Department, Harmony House was the only specialized Assisted Living center in the USA to offer free COVID-19 care in a family-friendly environment that felt much like home.

In 2022 Brianna also launched Harmony Palliative Care, a community based palliative program to provide the much needed care and support for those who need health care assistance, but would like to continue curative treatment.

Also, a passionate advocate for people living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Brianna currently holds a position with the Regional Leadership Council of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. She is Also a member of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and proud to be a Signatory of CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion.

Brianna holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree from Arizona State University. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
